"Los Pitirres del Colegio" CAAPPR 45 Anniversary

First of all, I would like to express my profound gratitude to the College of Architects and Landscape Architects of Puerto Rico for giving me the invaluable opportunity to create a commemorative work of art in honor of the 45th anniversary.

The artwork that I have the privilege of presenting today consists of two representations of the Gray-Kingbird (Pitirre), the emblematic bird that symbolizes the essence of architects and landscape architects. The choice of this bird is based on its creative nature, as well as its strength, courage, and cleverness. Like architects and landscape architects, the Gray-Kingbird (Pitirre) has the ability to contemplate the world from various perspectives, adapting and generating innovative solutions. As a background, I have included the logo of the college, which represents the unity and cohesion of our profession.

In summary, this work of art represents the importance of our profession, highlighting our creative spirit and our ability to tackle challenges with wit and determination. It is a visual symbol of our commitment as architects and landscape architects in Puerto Rico.
